MILAN, MONZA, & ALFA ROMEO
Our journey begins in Milan, where guests will have time to recover from international travel and settle into our comfortable, luxury 5-star hotel, a truly remarkable property to begin our retreat. The following day will offer an automotive-focused experience featuring legendary Monza and the Alfa Romeo Heritage Collection. Guests who would prefer a different experience may instead spend the day discovering Milan’s world-famous fashion district, luxury boutiques, cafés, architecture, restaurants, and cultural attractions, with a guided shopping and fashion experience in Milan.
This choice allows couples with different interests to enjoy the same journey without feeling obligated to participate in every automotive activity.
LAKE COMO
From Milan, we travel to one of the most beautiful and romantic destinations in the world: Lake Como, Italy. Our home will be a boutique and luxury 5-star villa directly on the water’s edge, selected for its exceptional lake views, comfortable suite-rooms, on-site restaurant, bar, and resort-style amenities. On one of our full-days at Lake Como, we will experience the lake from the water during a private mid-day boat tour and shopping stop in Bellagio town. Guests will enjoy beautiful views of Lake Como’s villas, gardens, villages, mountains, and waterfront scenery before gathering for dinner. The previous day (arrival day to the lake) is intentionally unscheduled, giving everyone a full afternoon to appreciate the Villa and Lake Como at their own pace, as well as enjoy our boutique villa’s many amenities. Relax beside the lake, enjoy the property’s restaurant and bar, arrange a spa treatment, explore the surrounding area, or simply spend the day enjoying the view and a glass of champagne.
MODENA & EMILIA-ROMAGNA
We continue our journey to the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, known as the land of fast cars and slow food. We will stay in our luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Modena. It is the home of Parmigiano Reggiano, traditional balsamic vinegar, handmade pasta, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, Pagani, and some of Italy’s greatest culinary traditions. This region is internationally recognized for both extraordinary food and legendary automobiles. One of our full day in the region will be devoted to its food and culture. We will visit local producers to learn how authentic Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar are made, tasting these products where they are produced, and enjoy an afternoon cooking class highlighting the flavors and techniques of Emilia-Romagna. The other full day will be dedicated to the Motor Valley, with planned visits and experiences at Ferrari, Maranello, Lamborghini, Ducati, and Pagani. Travelers who would prefer a more relaxing day may choose an optional spa and shopping experience instead.

As one of DeSerio Tours’ more relaxed experiences, one can expect light walking in towns, some uneven cobblestone streets, stairs, and countryside exploration. However, the itinerary is intentionally designed with plenty of downtime to relax, enjoy, and be present.
Guests should be comfortable with casual walking, getting in and out of private transportation, and navigating historic villages. This tour does not require long city walking days, strenuous hiking, or any specific fitness level for any activities. Welcome to beautiful Lake Como. Today we depart Milan and travel north to Lake Como. Upon arrival, guests will check in to our luxury, boutique villa accommodation and have time to settle into their rooms. Located directly lakeside and overlooking Comacina Island. Each room comes with breathtaking lake views. In the afternoon to appreciate the beauty, comfort, amenities, and location of our Lake Como Villa.

Spend the morning enjoying breakfast and views overlooking the lake before choosing how active, or inactive, you would like the rest of your day to be.
We will board our private boat for a memorable 2-hour tour of Lake Como. From the water, Travelers can appreciate Lake Como’s famous villas, Italian Alps’ snowcapped mountains, gardens, waterfront villages, and dramatic shoreline. After breakfast, we depart Lake Como and continue onward to Modena, located in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Home to fast cars and slow food, this area of Italy is one of the most important and influential regions of the country, if not the world. Upon arrival, we will check-in to our accommodation and have time to settle in. Afterwards we will explore the town of Modena followed by a reserved group dinner featuring the cuisine of Emilia-Romagna.
This region of Emilia-Romagna is known for some of Italy’s most celebrated culinary traditions, food, handmade pastas, tortellini, tagliatelle al ragù, mortadella, Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto, traditional balsamic vinegar or Modena, and Lambrusco wine. Additionally it is home to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, Maserati, Pagani and several other of the world’s most important cars. Both sides of this region to experience in the coming days.

Today is dedicated to the automobiles, engineering, design, history, and innovation of Italy’s Motor Valley. The planned experience will center around Maranello and the legendary manufacturers located throughout the Emilia-Romagna region.

Only Ferrari car owners themselves are exclusively able to, and welcome to book, a visit of the factory line within the Ferrari Factory, however; you will need to request this directly with your local Ferrari dealership to set up. As such factory tour can only be set up through authorized Ferrari dealerships, DeSerio Tours has no authority or ability to reserve Factory Tours on behalf of Ferrari owners. The Ferrari factory is generally restricted and may require qualifying ownership, sponsorship status, dealership coordination, prior approval, and availability.

PARMIGIANO REGGIANO, BALSAMIC VINEGAR, & COOKING CLASS
DAY 7
Today is devoted to the extraordinary food traditions of Emilia-Romagna. We will begin by visiting a farm & producer of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano, where travelers will learn how the famous cheese is made, aged, inspected, and transformed into one of Italy’s most internationally recognized products. The experience will provide an opportunity to see the craftsmanship behind true Parmigiano Reggiano and taste the differences created by various aging periods direct from the producer.
We then continue the day with a visit to a traditional Balsamic Vinegar farm, vineyard, and artisan producer. Travelers will learn how authentic Balsamic Vinegar is aged in wooden barrels for up to 100 years, how time, wood, and climate all influence its flavors, and why traditional balsamic is so different from any commercial products sold outside Italy. Tasting from the barrel will allow us to experience the depth, sweetness, acidity, and complexity of properly aged Balsamic Vinegar.
In the afternoon, we participate in a hands-on cooking class, combining these flavors, ingredients, and techniques into our dish. The class will conclude with an opportunity to enjoy what we have prepared together as our farewell group tour dinner.

– Click any blue box that says “Click to Sign-Up” and fill out the application for each Participant. - STEP 2: Receive and Pay Deposit to secure spot on Tour.
– Non-refundable Deposit due within 48 hours of receiving invoice. Additional: 50% of Single Supplement Fee due if applicable (non-refundable). - STEP 3: Pay 50% of Balance Due 150 Days Prior to Tour Start Date.
– Additional: Remaining 50% of Single Supplement Fee due if applicable (non-refundable). - STEP 4: Purchase Flights between 150 – 90 Days Prior to Tour Start Date.
– This is the best recommended window of time to find a good deal on Flights, while also guaranteeing the Tour will happen & has minimum # of Participants. - STEP 5: Pay Remaining 50% of Balance Due 90 Days Prior to Tour Start Date.
– Additional: Any additional fees, hotel nights, extension balances, etc. due if applicable. - STEP 6: Receive Packing Blogs/Info, Travel Tips, Arrival Info & Details.
– DeSerio Tours will send emails, information, and details in the months leading up to the tour, helping you feel comfortable and informed. - STEP 7: Start Packing you Bags! You have one amazing journey ahead!
